Is a streak due to end? Reading sequences correctly

Five consecutive UNDER results do not make the next OVER inevitable. That is the classic gambler's fallacy. The useful question is what historically happened after a streak of that length with the same venue role, opponent context and period.

Conditional probability instead of a supposed debt

The model estimates P(next result | streak length, context). It does not add a bonus merely because a pattern feels overdue. If the conditional sample is large enough and shows a change, that becomes a separate scenario with its own reliability.

Regression towards the mean
